Pfsense not getting dhcp address. Feb 21, 2020 · Since the pfSense logs are seeing the requests and sending back the offers, I’m doubting pfSense is the cause. Has anyone see where it doesn't hand out the complete DHCP config to clients? After about 7 hours of troubleshooting, I discovered it wasn't always handing out the netmask, even though it's present in the config. I have created a vlan using physical lan interface, assigned the interface, enabled it & configured dhcp. Have you double-checked your trunk ports to make sure the VLANs are tagged correctly?
